These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Class Scout NY (the "Service"), operated by Class Scout NY ("Class Scout", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Class Scout is an informational guide that helps parents and caregivers discover children's and family activities in New York City. Listings are aggregated from public directories, civic sources, activity providers, and the Google Maps Platform. Class Scout is a discovery tool, not a booking, payment, vetting, or supervision service. We do not run, endorse, certify, or guarantee any activity, provider, venue, or event shown.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use account features. By creating an account you confirm you are an adult acting on your own behalf or as a parent/guardian. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your device and session secure. The current sign‑in collects a display name only (see the Privacy Policy).

We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe is harmful to the Service or its users.
Listing information (names, addresses, schedules, prices, websites, locations) is provided for general information and may be incomplete, out of date, or inaccurate. Prices and schedules shown are estimates for planning and are not offers. Always confirm details, suitability, safety, licensing, and supervision directly with the provider before relying on a listing or attending an activity. Links to third‑party websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content, practices, or availability.
The Service, including its design, software, branding, text, and compilation of listings, is owned by Class Scout or its licensors and is protected by intellectual‑property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable licence to use the Service for personal, non‑commercial purposes. Provider names, marks, and content remain the property of their respective owners. You retain ownership of content you create (such as your saved lists and preferences) and grant us the licence necessary to operate the features you use.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON‑INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that listings are accurate, complete, current, or suitable, or that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error‑free. You are solely responsible for your decisions about activities, providers, and the safety and supervision of children.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Class Scout and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service, your reliance on any listing, or your interactions with any provider or activity. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us to use the Service in the 12 months before the claim (which, for a free service, is zero).
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Class Scout and its operators from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
You may stop using the Service at any time and request deletion of your account. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.
We may modify or discontinue the Service, and we may update these Terms, at any time. For material changes to the Terms we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict‑of‑laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New York County, New York for any dispute not subject to other agreed resolution.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
