About this provider
Greenpoint YMCA's camp is built around the same four-part structure as the broader YMCA network's approach -- swimming, arts and crafts, science activities and theme days -- but pitched at a slightly younger range than some of its sibling branches, welcoming kids from age three through twelve. The program explicitly frames itself around social and emotional growth alongside the activities themselves, aiming to build community through team-building in a deliberately inclusive environment rather than treating inclusion as an afterthought. Families enrolling more than one child receive a sibling discount, and the camp requires at least one session's commitment rather than allowing single-day drop-ins. Registration for the next summer season opens each December.
